About

HI THERE!

So, you’ve somehow stumbled across my tiny corner of the internet and are now wondering why on earth you should stay here for more than the 2.234786 seconds you have already.

Well, lets start with some basics.

WHO ARE YOU?

My name is Josie. I’m a journalism graduate with a passion for travel. I’ve been fortunate enough in my twenty-three years on this plant to have stayed in everything from 5* hotels to cockroach infested hostels and have even spent a few nights sleeping under the stars. I’ve gracefully wheeled my suitcase around whilst wearing heels but also turned up at destinations red faced and sweaty from carrying my 23kg backpack for a mile or two.

WHATS WITH THIS BLOG OF YOURS?

Seat 31D started as a place where I shared all the goss with family and friends as I worked my way around the globe during a gap year once I’d graduated. The name came from an old plane ticket I found when I was having a Sunday afternoon sort out and, yup, you guessed it – I’d been sat in seat 31D.

I got back to the UK October time last year and since then have continued to write about my travel adventures, food, life in general and cats!

ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?

I love a good cup of tea and some cake, trying out new recipes, cats and loitering in book stores when I’m waiting for my next flight. I’ve just landed my dream job in the travel industry and am currently working on finding all the best brunch spots in Cheshire.

IF I WANT TO GET IN TOUCH HOW CAN I DO THAT?

Got a question, message or request? You can contact me via email >>seat31d@gmail.com<< , Facebook or Twitter.

IS THAT IT?

Not quite! If you want to see if I’ve visited your favourite destination you can do so by clicking this cheeky little link right >>here<<.

What do you say to being travel buddies?

Josie
